Developed in 2012 in response to requests from members of the Middle East North Africa Partnership for Prevention of Armed Conflict (MENAPPAC) in the wake of the Arab Spring of 2011, MEND produced this manual based on our experience with youth and nonviolence and physical training in Palestine.

The manual was completed with the generous support of the Global Partnership for Prevention of Armed Conflict (GPPAC).

MEND has been a member of GPPAC and the regional network MENAPPAC since they were launched in New York and Beirut in 2005.
